Please review our property policies prior to completing your reservation.

Damage Deposit

​

A $100 refundable damage deposit is required for each reservation. Your deposit will be refunded to your method of payment within 7 days of your checkout date. The length of time it takes for the refund to be reflected in your account may vary based on the credit card used. Please make sure to follow our policies closely to ensure that you receive your full deposit after you depart.

Pet Policy

​

Pets are not allowed.

​

 

Booking Policy

​

Guests must be 21 or older to book a reservation.

 

You must include all guests that will be staying in the total guests when you make your reservation.

 

Children of all ages welcome. Children 2 and under stay for free. Please include your children on the reservation when you book.

 

No outside visitors. If you would like to have an event with guests that are not staying on property please let us know and

we will send you a custom quote. 

 

No photography or filming for professional/commercial purposes is allowed without prior approval and requires additional fees. Please contact us before booking for more information.

Cabin Rules

​

No smoking or vaping in cabins or near open windows or doors. Smoking outside of the cabins is permitted.

 

Leave the room in the condition you found it in. Excessively dirty rooms will result in additional cleaning fees.

 

Do not move furniture.

 

Do not leave doors or unscreened windows open at any time.

 

Please let us know if you damage an item, we understand that accidents happen! You will be charged for the replacement cost of any items that are damaged or missing that you do not notify us about.

 

Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am. Please keep the tranquil nature of the property in mind and keep noise levels low during your stay out of respect for our neighbors and other guests.

 

Fire safety: Due to Texas weather and local conditions a burn ban may be in effect during your stay for your safety and the safety of others. Please check the status of a burn ban in Hood County prior to using the fire pit. If a burn ban has been issued by county officials you may not use the fire pit per the law and will be subject to a $500 fine from the county if caught violating the ban. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Grills may be used even if a burn ban is in place. Ensure all embers are put out when you are finished using it.

 

No fireworks.

 

No shooting of firearms.

Check-Out Policies

 

Check-out is at 11am or earlier. Late departures will incur a fee of $1.00 per minute. Late charges begin accumulating after 11am.

 

Please leave the key where you found it on arrival. There is a fee of $50 to replace lost keys.

 

By booking you agree to follow check-out instructions provided in manual located in cabin.

Release of Liability

 

Trouvaille Retreats, LLC DBA The Granbury Cabins at Windy Ridge strives to provide a safe environment for all of our

visitors. By booking, the named party on the reservation voluntarily agrees to waive, release, indemnify, and hold harmless Trouvaille Retreats and its officers, directors, agents, employees, volunteers, contractors, representatives, and property partners from any and all liability, causes of action, or claims for any injuries (including serious injuries and death) or damages impacting self (or their minor child). And as a result voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury (or injury to their minor child), including serious injuries or death, that may be sustained, as a result of participation in any Trouvaille Retreats activity, whether caused by negligence of Trouvaille Retreats or otherwise. Named party on the reservation also assumes the responsibility of notifying any additional parties on the afore mentioned reservation of such risks and waiver of liability prior to staying or visiting the Trouvaille Retreats property.

The Granbury Cabins Cancellation Policy

​

We will refund your payment with notice of 30 days or more prior to your check-in date, less a $50 administrative fee per unit booked. If there are less than 30 days before your arrival, your reservation is non-cancellable and non-refundable. We are a small property and cancellations greatly impact us, please be sure of your dates when booking.

We strive to ensure that all amenities are in the best condition possible for your stay. Rarely there may be unforeseen circumstances which may lead to an amenity not being available. Non-essential amenities such as fireplaces, hot tubs, fire pits, etc. may not be available due to weather, mechanical failures, governmental rules or regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control and are not a basis on which to request cancellations or refunds.
